It's not as if you can't cook. It's just that you'd like to pull a meal together. Maybe a Shabbat meal with a little more "oomph" than usual. Maybe a holiday meal where the menu reflects a theme or a Jewish value. Or maybe just an everyday meal that not only uses up the little bits and pieces in the fridge, freezer and pantry but also has a funny or thought provoking story behind it.
Sounds familiar? You've come to the right place. I don't promise mind boggling recipes. I do promise some ramblings of a scatter brained busy mom, trying to serve pleasing meals to a highly particular family and some very picky guests.

Welcome to my kitchen. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of tea and let's talk about the menu for the next meal.

The real me

My name is Osnat. I am old enough to know better, yet I still speak up for what I believe in.

I am a teacher who believes in creative teaching and a cook who believes in creative cooking.

I believe in lifelong study and a no-nonsense approach to life.

I talk too much, eat too much, do too much and read w-a-y too much.

I actually don't like to say too many things that start with "I". If you want to know me, read my blog posts. I tell it like it is, believe me.

So go back to the blog and read all the good stuff.

And if you have questions, feel free to ask. How else will you learn?
